It is my sad duty to report the passing of Brother FRANCIS RANDOLPH “RANDY” JONES, Beta Alpha Chapter Brother # 65 at the age of 77 years.

You will find Bro. Randy’s obituary below as provided by his family to Bro. Ron Curtis, Beta Alpha Bro. # 79 who forwarded it to me. Bro. Randy joins the multitude of Brothers who rest in our Nirvana Chapter. May God grant Peace and Understanding to his family and friends who mourn his passing. May Bro. Francis Randolph Jones of Madison, North Carolina passed away October 2, 2022. He was the son of the deceased Paul Elmore Jones, II and Frances McCraw Jones. He is survived by his children: Kim Fry (Marc), Steven Randolph Jones and Kelly Walck (Jeff), their mother, Kathy Jones, and grandchildren Leah Fry, Jordan, Conner and Wyatt Walck; and brother Paul Jones, III (Joyce).

He was a graduate of Hopewell High School (VA) and Medical College of Virginia School of Pharmacy (1970).

His career as a pharmacist included the North Carolina Board of Pharmacy, hospital pharmacies at University of North Carolina, Bladen County Memorial Hospital, Morehead Hospital and numerous retail pharmacies in Virginia and North Carolina.

A celebration of his life is planned for Saturday, February 4, 2023, 11 AM, at New Life Baptist Church, Madison, North Carolina.
