The Greek Letter Fraternity System
The Chapters of this Fraternity shall be named from the letters of the Greek Alphabet in order of their foundation. When so many Chapters have been installed as there are letters in the Greek Alphabet, the next chapter shall be named Alpha Alpha, the next Alpha Beta, etc., throughout the alphabet

*These three chapters were chapters of Sigma Phi Fraternity. They were sponsored by Eta Chapter of Brooklyn, NY.
**These chapters were never chartered. They were probably designated as Crescent Clubs (Alpha Theta CC and Alpha Xi CC) but ran into anti-fraternity opposition at their schools and dissolved before they were to be chartered.
***These two chapters are the only chapters ever to be chartered at Universities. They were the pre-cursor to our college affiliate Gamma Psi Fraternity.
****Alpha Psi was chartered as an alumni chapter. It’s members were comprised of Alumni brothers of Alpha Phi Chapter (Mimico, ON).

If any information contained in this directory are found to be incorrect, please contact us using one of the contact forms on this website. Occasionally, chapters were chartered at one school but drew their members from more than one school or migrated to other schools within their city (this may not be reflected in the chapter roll). Dates that a chapter went dormant are approximations or are the date their charter was revoked by The International Board of Control.
