Getting there / Carpooling

Driving times from Richmond to New Haven are about 6’ 30” and from Toronto about 8’ 30”. We currently have multiple vehicles driving to New Haven from the South and the North. Contact us to find a ride or if you’d like to offer to provide rides to New Haven. We encourage everyone to carpool if possible. There is passenger and commuter rail service into New Haven Union Station. Contact Amtrak and MTA for fares and schedules. Greyhound operates into the New Haven Bus Station also.

A block of (at least) 10 rooms has been secured for us. The discounted nightly rates for 1-2 people per room are $119 for a king bed room and $129 for 2 doubles. Rates apply for April 14 & April 15 only. Free breakfast, parking and Wi-Fi are included. When booking by phone ask for the “Gamma Delta Psi” rate or Group Code “G-GD04” when booking online. These rates only apply if you book your hotel room by March 14. Regular room rates will apply after March 14. You are responsible for booking your own room. The hotel is a 12 minute drive to the New Haven Museum.

Cost

Free! No cost to attend. You are responsible for the cost of your hotel room and meals.

Red Carnations

Free red carnations will be provided to any Brother attending. We hope you will wear it at meals and anywhere you represent the Fraternity at the weekend events.

There will be a free attendance gift for anyone that registers by March 14. Details will be announced to those that RSVP.

View Fraternity artifacts in the Museum’s Hillhouse HS collection. Some documents date back to 1884. We will present the New Haven Museum with Gamma Delta Psi historical items and Brother Dave Bartlett’s research on Alpha Brothers. The Museum is open 12-5.
