Gary Horlick and Dave Flemington

Brothers,

Gary Horlick died suddenly on September 4, 2022 as a result of a vehicle accident in Toronto, Ontario. Gary grew up in Oakville, Ontario and attended Gladys Speers elementary school and then Thomas A. Blakelock Secondary School where he played varsity football and track and field. He was an Ontario Scholar upon graduation.  He then moved to Toronto and attended Ryerson University eventually earning a degree in Architecture. Gary worked at Eatons company in Toronto, Ontario before working at National Cash Register (N.C.R.) in Mississauga, Ontario before retiring. Gary and his wife Liz then became Property Managers for several income properties they owned in and around Toronto, Ontario.

Gary was a proud member of Gamma Delta Psi fraternity, Alpha Chi chapter located in Oakville, Ontario. He was a self taught renovator and Project Manager until his recent passing. He and his wife Liz were married for over 35 years and have two sons – Taylor and Richard. Gary also has two sisters – Judy of Florida and Pamela of Burlington, Ontario. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Peter Horlick, also of Oakville, Ontario and brother of the late Linda Horlick.

Gary was liked and loved by all who knew him. He was constantly helping others around him. He loved cars and boats and owned many. His main loves in his life were his wife Liz and sons Taylor and Richard. He loved being at the family cottage in Collingwood, Ontario where he spent much of his time recently.

Gary will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

So – tonight when you hit your knees – please ask God to love him too…
